AAOD ANNUAL JOURNAL WINS THIRD CONSECUTIVE WHITLEY AWARD

We're very proud to announce the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Journal has won a Whitley Commendation Award for Best Periodical for an unprecedented third year running!

“The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Journal is a must-have for dinosaur enthusiasts and a great educational resource for every school and library,” said Founder and Palaeontologist David Elliott on receiving news of the award.

“Our Journal is aimed at a broad audience and documents Australia's prehistoric life, where it is found, and the people who help to uncover this amazing heritage.

"I honestly believe that if we are going to understand where our country is going, we really need to understand where it has come from and the palaeontological record is the only way of doing that."

The Whitley Awards, first presented in 1979, recognise Australian natural history based publications that deal with the promotion and conservation of Australasian fauna.
