PLAN A VISIT

The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum is home to the largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils in the world. The Museum is split between three facilities, the Fossil Preparation Laboratory, Collection Room and Dinosaur Canyon.  

Museum trading hours 

  Open seven days a week in winter (1 April to 30 September)
Monday to Sunday, 8.30am to 5pm

Tours depart on the hour: 9am, 10am 11am 12pm, 1pm and 2pm with partial tours available thereafter until 4:30pm.

 Open six days a week in summer (1 October to 31 March)
Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (Closed Sundays)

Tours depart on the hour: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm with partial tours available thereafter until 4:30pm.

*Arrive 15 minutes before the tour commences.
